Our Story

Born from love. Inspired by light.

I’m Bonnie, the founder of LumiBride. Before starting this brand, I spent seven years working in the bridal and occasionwear industry.

Having helped so many brides find their dresses, I once found it difficult to imagine becoming a bride myself. Painful experiences had made it hard for me to trust others, and for a time, I thought I would spend my life alone.

Then, during a trip, I met the man who would become my first love—and later, my husband.

Through his kindness, patience, and companionship, I began to feel loved as I slowly found my way back to myself. We explored new places and built a life filled with warmth and everyday joy. Little by little, I found myself looking forward to the future—and ready to create something of my own.

The idea for LumiBride took shape as we planned our wedding.

Becoming a bride gave me a new appreciation for the smallest details. Each accessory was part of how I imagined looking and feeling that day. Yet finding pieces that worked together, felt personal, and offered reliable quality meant searching across countless shops. Inconsistent quality made those choices even harder.

I began to wonder: could this experience be simpler? Could there be one place where brides could confidently choose their accessories, leaving more time to enjoy the excitement of their wedding?

Drawing on my seven years of industry experience and everything I had learned as a bride, I began building LumiBride. With my husband’s encouragement and support, I brought that idea to life.

The “Lumi” in our name evokes light. For me, it holds the memory of finding hope again. It also reminds me why I started: to bring care and experience to choosing bridal accessories, helping each bride find the details that feel right for her.

My hope is that every bride who comes to LumiBride feels loved—and sees the light that has always been her own.
